Who we are
We are a contemporary ceramics studio.
We work with Nerikomi technique, creating functional objects and collections where colour and pattern are part of the material itself. Our work combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern approach to colour, form and composition. We create pieces to be used every day, but with the attention and character usually associated with collectible objects.
Sajara Vendrell Aguilar
Sajara has been working with ceramics since 2016, after studying Fine Arts and later a Master of Art and Education in Barcelona. Her practice has developed through experimentation with different ceramic materials and techniques, as well as through her studies and travels in Asia.
In 2020, while in Taipei, she discovered Nerikomi and began exploring its possibilities with colour. This led her to develop the technique further and gradually move from stoneware to porcelain.
Polina Parkhomenko
Polina joined the project bringing a background in fashion, image and video.
She learned ceramics alongside Sajara and became progressively involved in the development of the collections, particularly in colour, composition and the visual side of the studio.
Together, we develop each collection from the colour research to the finished
ceramic pieces.
